Leopard dresses of all kinds are a staple that will probably always live in my closet. I mean, leopard is a neutral in my book so you can pair it with most anything and it transitions from season to season effortlessly.
Currently, I’m craving all things that are spring! With this crazy Texas weather, it seems that spring is coming sooner rather than later. A fun shift dress and some booties are the perfect pieces for that weird inbetween Texas climate. When it’s cool, you can throw a fab denim jacket over that leopard piece and you’re good to go. Layering is the key! I bought this dress early fall from my favorite boutique. I think she has one left! I’m also linking a few that I love.
My earrings are Kendra Scott and I get questions about them every time I wear them. My mom actually got them for me and she created them on the color bar on the Kendra Scott website. They are the Elle style, crystal clear stone with gold as the metal color. They go with EVERYTHING and I have them on in a lot of my photos on Instagram.
Have a fab week and Keep it Saucy!

This dish is one of Jacob’s favorites that he requests all the time! I posted the cooking process on my insta story along with my country accent earlier this week. It’s not a healthy recipe but it is damn delicious. Especially if you are a fan of the spicier things in life. Every time I make this, I have leftovers to take to work and the girls are always wanting to know how to make it. I mostly do the chicken version, but this time he requested shrimp. You can choose whatever meat you’re craving.
1 (16 ounce) package of uncooked farfalle (bowtie) pasta
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon hot chile paste
1 lb of shrimp (peeled and deveined) or 1 lb boneless chicken breast cut into 1 inch squares
6 tablespoons of prepared basil pesto
1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of chopped cilantro
1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Place farfalle pasta in the pot and cook for 8-10 minutes, until al dente, and drain.
2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Mix in the chile paste and shrimp (or chicken). Cook and stir the shrimp for about 5-6 minutes (10 minutes for chicken, or until juices run clear).
3. Toss the cooked farfalle, pesto, parmesan cheese and cilantro into the skillet and continue cooking until just heated through.
That’s all there is to it! This recipe is super easy, as in, if I can cook it so can you. The first time I made it, I substituted crushed red pepper for the chile paste because I couldn’t find the paste in the store. I don’t recommend that substitution because it was light yo mouth on fire hot! The Sambal Olek gives the dish such a perfect spicy flavor. I found it over next to all the Asian ingredients like soy sauce and whatnot at my local grocer. Happy cooking!
Let me know what you think in the comments! P.S. My super warm pullover is True Grit, one of the best Christmas gifts I got this year from one of my best friends. It is incredibly soft and I wear it ALL THE TIME.
It’s the day of Love and hot date nights! This outfit is perfect for a chilly Valentine date night with your hunnie or a Galentine’s with your gal pals. A perfect little burgundy dress and a warm faux fur to finish it off, so chic and fabulous. I can’t get enough fur!
Jacob and I are recreating our first date night, we are even going to wear the same outfits that we had on that night! Yes, I still have it because I’m sentimental like that lol 🙂
I would love to hear what your plans are! Hope your weekend is going fab!

This past weekend, I attended the annual Hearts for Hospice Ball with my boyfriend Jacob and some close friends of ours. This Ball is a fundraiser for Cypress Basin Hospice, a local hospice provider. We enjoyed silent and live auctions, a yummy dinner and drinks and I may have even danced a tink! The weather was less than perfect with the cold and rain but we still had a fab time. I came across this outfit on Lulu’s and I had to have it! It is great quality and very well priced. I do have to mention that the shipping was a bit slow, so if you order it, make sure you have plenty of time to wait on it because I was nervous about the fit and maybe having to do alterations. Lulu’s was great about the delay, they sent me a 20% off coupon for having to wait so long and I ended up ordering a few more items from their site. I’m such a sucker for discounts! Anywho, the shoes I wore were on huge sale at Dillard’s. I have them posted up on the Saucy Steals slider on the right. If you click the picture, it will take you directly to the link. I snagged my jewels on sale as well! I added the snapchat selfie to get a good close up of my jewels. Unfortunately, they are sold out of both the necklace and the earrings but I have the similar earrings linked in the Saucy Steals Slider. I wore these petals and used this tape to make sure the girls stayed in place and we didn’t have a wardrobe malfunction!
Hope your week is going great and remember, Keep it Saucy!
